Nina Clow, DVM

As the owner of Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic, Dr. Clow believes veterinary medicine is more than treatment. It is about service, trust, and honoring the bond between people and their pets. Her approach is guided by a commitment to doing what is best for each patient and family.

After beginning her career in land surveying and gaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Dr. Clow returned to school to pursue veterinary medicine. She completed her pre-veterinary studies at Fresno State University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1994. She began her veterinary career in Reno, Nevada, where she gained experience in small animal care, exotic medicine, and soft tissue surgery. In 1998, she moved to Denver and joined Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic, where she has continued to practice ever since.

Dr. Clow’s work is guided by her faith, and she sees her talents as a way to serve others and do meaningful work. She believes that pets are gifts that bring joy, love, and richness to our lives, and caring for them is a way to honor that.

Dr. Clow loves gardening, raising orchids, African violets, Streptocarpus, and other Gesneriaceae. She also enjoys fly fishing, ice fishing, biking, hiking in the Rockies, and spending time with her two rescue kitties, Amos and Rayln. She recently has become interested in photography after a trip to the Galapagos. At home, she cherishes life with her husband, loves to travel in the RV sprinter van, and spends as much time in her yard as possible. She has a grown son acquiring a PhD in computer science in Reno, Nevada.
