Erik, Office Manager

Erik is the Office Manager at Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic. He is a native of Denver, Colorado, and has been in the veterinary field for 18 years. He started as a veterinary technician and holds an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology. Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with his two cats, Sally and Kasey, his family, and pursuing arts, music, singing, and travel.

Carol, Receptionist

Carol is a receptionist at Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic. She is originally from Denver, Colorado, and earned her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in behavior after graduating from Bel-Rea in 1992. Outside of work, Carol enjoys spending time with her three daughters, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her rescued dachshund, Smalls.

Karla, Lead Receptionist, VTA & Inventory Manager She/Her

Karla has been in the veterinary field for almost 9 years, 5 of which have been with Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic. As someone who plays many roles in our practice, Karla takes part in both the care of our patients as well as helping people understand what goes into that care. Her favorite part of the job has been the long-lasting relationships she has developed with both clients and her patients. Outside of work, Karla is passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ rights and community, as well as spending quality time with her family and friends. Paddleboarding has been her newfound love and hobby.

Ciara, Veterinary Technician Assistant & Receptionist

Ciara is a receptionist and veterinary technician assistant at Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic. She has been working in the veterinary field for a little over a year now and has been with the Quebec Highlands team for about 9 months after finishing her Bachelors of Natural Science in Zoology in 2025. She found her way into the field due to a desire to care for and protect the animals who bring joy to our everyday lives as well as a deep interest in scientific study. Her favorite part about working at Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic is the amazing culture between staff and customers. When not working, Ciara enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her friends.
