Dental procedures have the greatest variation in cost from patient to patient as there is such a difference in the amount of periodontal disease based on breed, diet, home dental care, and prior dental procedures. A basic dental procedure involves a thorough dental exam with the probing (while under anesthesia), dental scaling and polishing, and full mouth X-Rays. The procedure is basically the same as when you go to the dentist to have your teeth cleaned by a hygienist, X-Rayed, and examined (except for the anesthesia). Complicated dentals are those that reveal abscessed, fractured, mobile, or infected teeth which require intervention to treat the pain and infection in the mouth. These are considered dental surgeries, as the clinician will then have to extract teeth, and/or perform other appropriate treatments.
Basic Dentals (No Extractions Required)
- Canine: $584 – $726
- Feline: $554-613
Surgical Dentals (Includes Extractions which is most dentals)
Basic Dental cost of Feline and Canine Dentals PLUS the cost of surgery. The cost is dependent on the extent of surgery. We are happy to call to update you on the costs the morning of the dental, once the set of dental x-rays and oral exam is completed.
